Suspected militants strike in heart of Srinagar, kill 2 NC workers | KNO

Srinagar, October 05 (KNO) : Suspected militants on Friday morning fired upon three NC workers in Karfala Mohalla area of Habba Kadal of Srinagar district leaving them critically injured of the injured two succumbed on way to hospital while third one is critical.Witnesses said all three were shifted to SMHS hospital where two of them were declared brought dead.

A senior official told (KNO) that suspected militants fired upon three civilian in old city. "In this incident two of them succumbed and one has been shifted to hospital," he said, adding that the area has been cordoned off and a massive search has been launched. Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. The slain has been identified as Nazir Ahmed and Shokat Ahmed Wani while third one is Shakeel Ahmed Zangoo.(KNO)
